This is an opportunity for you to deepen your knowledge of Yin Yoga with Yoga practices that can help you to immerse yourself in a personal discovery of your inner stillness and experience the absolute peace within you. Meditation and Pranayama are included in the course curriculum as an inner method during the Yin Yoga practices. Mindfulness meditation and seated meditation which include the 4 Foundations of Mindfulness will undoubtedly help the participants of this course in exploring the path of self-awareness.

The floor-based restorative postures of Yin Yoga will provide immense support to the immune system while stimulating and nourishing the energetic channels in your body. Additionally, this especially designed Yin Yoga practices shall help in cultivating inner capacity for meditative self-awareness by unfolding the higher levels of self-inquiry.

Yin Yoga when practised with mindfulness and self-inquiry is transformative. The Yin postures nourish and restore balance to both the energetic and physical bodies. During this 50-hour training you will gain the ability to take your practice to a deeper level as well as leaving with a sound knowledge of the practice and principles of Himalayan Yin Yoga. Both Tara and Gopal believe effective teachers teach from their own personal experience.

Whilst this training is designed specifically to qualify Yin Yoga Teachers wishing to teach Yin Yoga classes, this training is also a beautiful offering for any dedicated yoga practitioner who would like to deepen their own personal practice.

50 Hours Yin Yoga training program has been designed for Yoga teachers which shall be provided with tools to take your personal practices to the next higher level of proficiency. You'll gain clear understanding on the safety and anatomical issues that pertain the Yin Yoga practices while developing the ability to creatively sequence and manage Yin Yoga classes for all levels of aspirants. The ancient methods and teachings included in the course curriculum of Yin Yoga TTC by Tara Ahern helps the participants to enhance their own personal experience through effective tools and teachniques.

NOTE: 200 Hours Yoga Teacher Training certification is a prerequisite to enroll for 50 Hours Yin Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher Training.

    5 days (50 Hours) Yin Yoga program shall be conducted at Rishikesh, India. The place is an ancient spiritual city located at the foothills of majestic Himalaya Mountain surrounded with prestine natural beauty. The presence of holy river Ganges flowing through the city adds value to the spiritual significance of the place.

    ABOUT Tara Ahern

    Tara is the amongst the leading Yin Yoga teachers in Australia and one of the first to introduce Yin Yoga to the Australian audience. She has been soughting to connect with herself and others through movement. MOvement and sound has always been her vehicle to the Divine.

    50 Hours Yin Yoga Teacher Training

    Tara leads Yin Yoga teacher trainings and workshops in Australia as well as ongoing mentoring for yoga teachers. Yoga did not come naturally to her. Initially, she didn’t get the essence of Yoga at all. Through her ballet and sporting disciplines she had been conditioned to believe nothing was worthwhile unless she pushed herself to the edge: physically, mentally and emotionally.

    In 2001 after retiring from the National Australian women’s Dragon Boating team, she commenced practising Bikram Yoga. Bikram was an ideal transition for an over-achiever. She found the therapeutics of the practice to be enormous whilst the style was challenging enough to keep her engaged. She loved Bikram Yoga as her practice, however She didn’t want to teach it.

    In 2010 when She took her first Yin class, she had a totally different experience. She had a feeling of arriving home. It is often said you teach what you need to learn. She was overwhelmed with a desire to share her Yin experience with other body-obsessed people. The class gave her what the Bikram Yoga and dance world didn’t, an emphasis on the internal journey. In addition, the physical benefits were enormous for a movement-obsessed person. Since that time She has studied with many Yin specialist teachers including Sarah Powers, Joe Barnett and Jo Phee, Paul Grilley, and Bernie Clark. To broaden her teaching repertoire she completed a 300 hour Hatha and Vinyasa in Rishikesh, India in 2015.

    For Tara, the Teacher Training journey is a lifelong commitment. She thank all her teachers for sharing their passion of this practice with her.   • Deepen Yoga experience with Meditation and journaling.
